Forecast the Great War for water

It seems that the conflict with Iran over its nuclear energy management will be the trigger for the next war in this second decade of the century.
The format is the same as that of Iraq. Things are not clear, it is better to intervene. In this "activity" will be called 65 million Iranians who live in that territory and a few more of their natural allies vs. the occupation army. The Persians again, do what most have known how to millennia.
However, even when this happens, the largest gathering of this century war will not be in that war. The mother of all wars, as announced by the doomsayers, it will be for control of food and drinking water. This confirms the report by the Canadian military, "The future security context of 2008-2030, where forward some initiatives to dampen or control some of what is already expected will happen.”The armed forces are preparing to respond to the four corners of the world due to possible regional wars and violent acts by competition for natural resources. Future military operations due to the spread of riots caused by hunger will result in heavy fighting. " Reveal the document.
Among the many factors of instability in the world for the coming years, the environmental impact is the focus of attention of that report. "All over the world will take place weather increasingly violent and increasingly linked to climate change that will require military intervention from relief missions to victims of natural disasters to stability operations on a large scale." The Canadian Forces believe that the struggle between the states will be for control of resources such as water and food and provides the worst of situations. The report provides economically fragile countries; internal struggles for control of resources will mainly be in the form of guerrilla or organized armed hordes for looting.
In a period of 20 years, environmental problems and scarcity of water and food, will involve a risk of destabilizing entire regions. "It is expected that the pressures caused by migration and flows of refugees or displaced persons will lead to an escalation of ethnic tensions, religious or territorial instability and, possibly, a crisis of governance in those states. These effects will manifest themselves first place in coastal areas, home to 75% of world population, especially among groups of people, economic sectors and localities sensitive to climate changes from the standpoint of economic or ecological. "
According to military analysts, the effects of climate change will be severe and will have catastrophic consequences, especially the melting of polar ice caps, rising sea levels, increasing desertification and declining crop yields in some regions (especially in Africa), the transformation of habitats, extinction of many species and the increasing spread of tropical diseases in temperate zones. Rising sea levels and melting glaciers certainly increase the amount of land lost, while the infiltration of salinity and pollution reduced access to drinking water resources. Africa's agricultural productivity will plummet. "The loss of agricultural land due to desertification resulting in decreased yields by 50%." Moreover, "the Himalayan glaciers will disappear without a doubt until 2035, which deprived 750 million inhabitants of the region-Kush Himalaya-Hinde and China from its source of drinking water."
While are everyone is taking their precautions. There American political agenda, acting with indifference to environmental issues. Food security, population growth and water are distant subjects because they have not score in the short term. Hard, is if not quixotic mission or the way of the environmentalists, to notice what is coming.
As they say in my country, to what's coming: "We hold that God confessed!"

Wikileaks and the Cancun Summit

For an individual interested in environmental issues, the development of the Cancun Summit, poor coverage of their arguments or the near absence of the presidents of the world, should fill in uncertainty. Climate change along with poverty and drinking water are the main themes of this century. And this gathering of nations was seen as a major effort to come up with ideas or agreements for the benefit of human life and the rest of the world's species.

But what was it that from the beginning pointed political analysts and / or environmental, that this summit would contribute little to solve the great concern as is the issue of climate change? Wikileaks secret cables, we explain it because the Cancun summit is seen as an effort decreased.
To this date, a year ago, Denmark hosted the XV International Conference on Climate Change, also known as the Copenhagen Summit. After the meeting, followed, multiple bilateral reproaches and accusations, by the way the agreements were taken at the Summit. Apparently, most polluting nations callus surprise them, binding agreements that were proposed, which of course did not take the political cost and I pose, media attention to these governments for their non-commitment to the aggressive air pollution they produce themselves. That risk had been willing to run again, much less exposed to the figure of their presidents to take a decision on site.
Still, the environmental issue, this variable, pulled them out, the geopolitical approach unravelled, that until now have been handled in international diplomacy. We refer to the old post-Cold War paradigm, Kissingeriano model, which is how they still carry the power games between the developed nations.
Wikieaks leaks, discovered post documents Copenhagen Summit, to reaffirm what is already known. In the "high diplomacy" the environmental issue is not the priority (only good for the speech) and from the summit in Denmark, the power blocs condemned the failure of the Cancun Summit.
Developer, a paragraph one of the classified documents, where France expresses its position on what happened in the Copenhagen Summit. "... The ambassador in Paris, Charles H. Rivkin, meets with then French Minister of Sustainable Development, Jean-Louis Borloo, relevant figures for years in the climate negotiations. Borloo said that Europe is a mistake to insist on the concept of "legally binding", just the opposite of what he had said the commissioner one month earlier. The minister felt that Copenhagen had failed because the subject had been treated like "too Western and too European", focusing on countries which are willing to cede sovereignty as they did in Europe after the Second World War with the creation of the EU.
The minister considers it unthinkable that for large emerging economies and claims a group of eight countries to reach an agreement. Borloo suggests
"Germany, France, the United State of America, China, India, Brazil, Algeria, Ethiopia (and is South Africa possibility)." Leave out in the EU list and reveals a major European issues in Copenhagen: the struggle of egos. "

In conclusion: We need a new world order, under the premise that the environment is the subject of XXI century. That light, the birth of diplomacy green / blue. Future summits on environmental issues will be useful, if designed from a sub-continental or bilateral, between countries that share the same biome. Citizens concerned about environmental problems, the last thing they need is global summits. The action is in the micro.
There is much to do from the local, from the everyday.

The boreal forest or taiga

Boreal forests and northern forests (boreas in greek for north) or also called Taiga is a biome or biotic area, a certain part of the planet that shares climate, vegetation and fauna, that develop south of the tundra (the tundra is a biome characterized by subsurface ice and lack of woody vegetation, mainly by extending the northern hemisphere: in Siberia, Alaska, northern Canada, southern Greenland and the Arctic coast of Europe), forming these boreal forests, an almost continuous belt of coniferous forests that extend across the interior of the sub arctic regions of Eurasia and North America. Boreal forests are the northernmost forests of the planet (most ranging between 50 and 60 degrees north latitude). This biome occurs only in the Northern Hemisphere, Southern Hemisphere because in these latitudes there are no masses. Yet it is one of the largest biomes on Earth. It stretches from Alaska and Canada in the North American continent and in Scandinavia and northern Russia (Siberia) in Eurasia. And it is the boreal forest along the tundra, one of the major biomes of the cold climates of the Earth.
These boreal forests are made up mostly of conifers (spruce, fir, pine, larch) and for most of the year are covered with snow. Its appearance is usually very homogeneous, since they are dominated by few species with a similar appearance: straight trunks and tree taper, with small leaves and narrow (acicular).
With these environmental conditions of severe weather, frozen ground most of the year and nutrient-poor soils, are conifers that dominate the vegetation. This type of trees (whose seeds are enclosed in cones or pineapples) were more widespread in earlier geological epochs, while at present, are angiosperms (flowering plants true), more developed and diversified, which dominate most terrestrial biomes. Conifers, today is just as dominant in the boreal forest and mountainous areas in temperate regions, forming the boundaries of both latitudinal and altitudinal tree line.
The growth form of boreal coniferous forests is mainly determined by its characteristic conical shape, which favours the fall of snow on the branches and prevents breakage, and its needle-like leaves (hence also known as aciculifolios forests). This type of narrow leaves and thick, waxy cuticle impermeable to water, allows them to withstand frosts and drought, they present a very small surface transpiration. Although these are boreal wet winter soil water is frozen and the trees can not absorb (winter drought) and replace what is lost by evaporation. Other trees prevent this water loss by dropping their leaves in winter, but the conifers are mostly evergreen. The permanence of the leaves in winter (evergreen or evergreen forests) allows them to perform photosynthesis in story temperatures rise in spring and the ground thaws, taking better advantage of short growing season.
At its northern fringe and close to the tundra growth of these forests is very slow and the trees do not reach too high (due to poor soil, the permafrost, and low temperatures). They are very closed forest under story and have a great abundance of lichens (open boreal forest or taiga true). If they are disturbed by fire, mining, or logging, recover very slowly. As we're moving toward the south, the forests are denser and taller (closed boreal forest), until in the vicinity of forests are temperate deciduous tree species enriched this typical of other biome. In addition to the deciduous forests can also limit the south by the great American prairie or Asiatic steppe.
The adaptations of the fauna in this climate so rigorous include: migration (many birds), hibernation (some mammals such as bears), winter white fur (fox, wolf, hare, owl ,..), seed storage for winter ( Certain birds, squirrels, ..) and development of winter coats with great insulation (sable, ermine...).
Protecting forests means protecting the climate Boreal
Images of giant trees in tropical regions collapsing focus the debate on forest protection. However, the forests of temperate and cold latitudes also play a role in combating climate change. Boreal forests go to one of the key regions for global climate. According to estimates by scientists who study these biomes, only between 2% and 3% of them are sufficiently protected. Boreal forests are a key region from the ecological point of view, since, due to its sensitivity to changes and their size can influence the climate.
In Canada, as in Russia and Scandinavia, boreal forests are threatened by unsustainable timber production and the progressive development of new areas.
Intact boreal forest can not only store large amounts of carbon. It is also more resistant to the effects of global warming. Just the opposite of what happens to those whose boreal forests large trees have disappeared intensive logging, and concludes an extensive study by Canadian scientists on behalf of Greenpeace. Especially problematic is the thawing of the soil layer that is permanently frozen ground called permafrost, and which grows most of these conifer forests. A land that for thousands of years was has stored greenhouse gases. When permafrost melts, facilitates the release into the atmosphere of methane gas harmful to the environment. Healthy forests are able to retain on the floor much of these gases.
Public debate: moving tropical forests worldwide attention to the boreal forest or taiga
Often forests in cold areas play a role in the discussion on forest protection worldwide. Unfortunately, was lack of knowledge in the Canadian public of the significance and sensitivity of these issues? The protection of tropical forests crowns the world stage on the issue of deforestation and its impact on climate change. (Blue Environmentalists) has proposed to develop an educational program in Canada for the protection of this important biome.

Moose, reindeer and deer, large herbivorous mammals in the boreal forests of Canada

Canada's boreal forests are home to a number of large herbivorous mammals such as moose, reindeer or caribou and deer. Zootechnical are ranked low in the same order: Artiodactyla (toed ungulates), Family: Cervidae (deer).
These herbivores are the legendary survivors with greater adaptability that today live in this snowy land. Also symbolize the peace and harmony with nature.
Below is a brief fact sheet on these distinguished and admired Canadians.
Moose: They are hardy animals and heavy with a big massive head and a long nose. The average weight for males is 430 kg and 350 kg in females have short tails, a hump in the front room and large ears that rotate. Adult males have a long and flexible jowls hanging below the throat, whose function is unknown, and develop a huge antlers each summer move on. The elk can cross deep snow with their long legs, which are protected against inclement weather by a thick layer formed from hollow hairs. They have very good sense of smell and hearing but his vision is not the best. They can eat up to 20 pounds of plants each day and come to migrate with the seasons in search of fresh vegetation. North America's total population is between 800,000 and 1.2 million animals. Hunters hunt about 90,000 moose a year. His only other predators are bears and wolves.
Reindeer or caribou: Are the only species of deer in which females and males have antlers shaped chandelier. The average weight for males is 110 kg and 81 kg in females live in large migratory herds along the tree line of northern forests, feeding mainly herbs and shrubs in the summer; and lichens that cover the forest floor during winter. To feed during the winter snow must dig hard to compete with other reindeer. This may explain why females have antlers too. During the mating season, males compete for females facing horns. It is so much attention to the mating rituals that many forget even to eat, lose too much energy in this process. Females give birth in the boreal forest plains in the spring after a gestation period of 7 months. Then put all their energy reserves to feed their babies for a month. There are over 2 million caribou in North America, but are less successful in the southern part of their range where they deal with humans and other predators.
Deer Represent a population of about 750,000 and live in federally protected areas in the United States and Canada. The average weight for males is 331 kg and females 241 kg have prospered due to good conservation and management practices and also due to the decline of large predators. Flocks may include more than 200 animals. Males and females often congregate in separate herds until the breeding season in late September or early October. At this time adult males show a variety of flamboyant behaviour to excel and compete for fertile females. They use their large six-pointed antlers that can measure six feet, to cope with other males, roar with strength and spread urine. A fawn weighs about 14 pounds and born after a gestation period of six months. The future of the deer seems assured as long as they remain balanced the interests of hunters, farmers and tourists.

Volunteers to live on Mars, no return trip

The meaning of all environmental, ecological and conservation is to defend life every heartbeat. Life is a privilege, but also a mission means that nature. Each species has a rationale or a role to play, a job to do. The gift of life that has a kind, not to be exterminates another. Planetary conditions were set for all live in perfect balance. Balance that humans are broke and now is the eve of losing paradise. The Eden was of Adam and Eve. The human race to survive now needs a plan B. The arks XXI century must be lifted to reach the new land.
The proposal to colonize another planet, has been the primary motivation of space agencies, the initiative, which from the scientific point of view needs to be accelerated due to the clear trend of overpopulation of our species and the depletion of resources. The issue has become a resume recently with the proposal for young scientists Schulze-Makuch and Paul Davies, University of Arizona; argue that the colonization of Mars might be quicker and cheaper if the astronauts began to behave like first conquistadors who arrived on American soil, without attempting to return home. "The main goal is to begin to move the exploration of Mars," they express these scientists, in the interest of accelerating the search for a new planet, in the face of potential catastrophe on Earth. The initial strategy (to make it happen over the next decade), is proposing to send two teams first people in different ships to open the camps and then begin to regularly receive more settlers with food. Thus, by not carrying extra fuel and provisions for returns, it would cut travel expenses by 80%. The planet Mars is the most promising to support a continued colonization, as in many respects is similar to Earth.
The success of the proposal of Davies and Schulze-Makuch depends on strictly comply with three phases: the careful choice of landing site, using all data from current and future missions to the Red Planet, the prior establishment of a non-inhabited but with the resources necessary to sustain human life and sending astronauts ready to make an old man alone round, without any hope of returning to Earth suggest that the selection of the first crew will be settlers who have passed their reproductive age and their life expectancies are below twenty years. Also, once they reach base, their work would not be very different from those made at the time the first conquerors of America, but with resources and more sophisticated tools. Enriching the field to make it suitable for cultivation, building shelters for future settlers and themselves, collect the materials needed to expand the colony and to develop its own biosphere, an environment capable of harnessing the resources of the planet for their own survival. The first astronauts also have received extensive training both physically and psychologically before on their mission, and maintain, once there, permanent contact with Earth through email, radio and video conferencing. Finally Schulze-Makuch Davies and maintain that in the era of communications, these early settlers are Martians "more connected to home early Antarctic explorers."
Under these assumptions, the NGO Blue Environmentalists has proposed a global initiative in the pursuit of these volunteers or new settler. In principle, to draw attention to various environmental problems afflicting the planet at present, and as a second order, inquire, to what extent volunteers are really willing to live in a space camp, the last stage of life.
Registration is open for applications until December 31, 2011. The lists of people to volunteer will be sent to the various space agencies are working on the proposal of interplanetary travel, all in the interest of supporting the advancement of these missions.
voluntariosparavivirenmarte@gmail.com is the email to apply.

In 2030, hard currency will be a liter of water of western and Chinese rice bowl

Everything indicates that in 20 years, barter is one of the strongest economic systems, especially in the sharing of food and drinking water. Hence, the dollar and the euro will stop being the most prized in the West to be displaced per liter of drinking water, as well, the rice bowl of 700 grams, which displace the Japanese yen and Chinese Yuan, as Asia's leading currencies.
The powers in is greater firepower war, controlling for the little reservoir of fresh water, remaining in each of the continents. A trickle, the ration to stop more than three billion new people hungry by then will be born, and again, maximize their economic and marital exchange of this new wealth, being the sole possessors of this resource. Direct result of melting polar ice will increase the water of the oceans and cause the penetration of salt in fresh water bodies. These coastal flooding will be intensified to such a degree that is presumed demise of the Pacific islands, causing massive displacement of its residents to the continents. That is, in Asia will have less land for cultivation, and more people looking for land to inhabit?
Rice will be controlled mainly by China, and in the exchange market will be the bowl of 600 grams, the equivalent for the meal of a family of 3 per day and will impose itself as the strongest currency of food. It is estimated that even though the region produces about 1000 million tones by 2030, these volumes are not sufficient to satisfy part of the global famine broke out. Russia, meanwhile, fought to impose the Bread of 500 grams as the currency of food is they producers of wheat, but can only use in their area of influence, because it covered only with great insecurity, demand the region and the countries of its orbit. The Latin American continent, to be develop its own currency exchange or barter and call him a bowl of beans, 300 grams. The mitigate hunger in Latin America than in other parts of the world, thanks to that bowl of beans to save us. At least some will have to eat beans.
Africa, the continent will become a hostage. Migration out of that vast territory banned. The famine and lack of potable water to the continent scourged. Military technology and its borders were closed. Will be the biggest ghetto in is 21st century. The continent is excluded from the global communications, in order to reduce the anxiety of their people to seek new life expectancy.
So things will be in 2030.
Keywords: continent hostage, beans, save us, 20 years is nothing. Put more attention to environmental problems and take statements.

Environmentalists Blue. From muralists conservationists to environmental Journalists

In the mid-eighties, we declare ourselves environmentalists, and start a concept mural conservation and sober in the various walls of the city of Maracaibo, Zulia State, Venezuela. It was agreed to incorporate icons where the criterion was one, giving each wall a clean and esthetic sense, introducing figures from the foliage and fauna of the region. Until then, the city walls were equipped only with old outdated advertising campaigns. We had a tenacious defense for every space conquered and many confrontations with the political parties who once tried unsuccessfully campaigns run him over with his hunters or "dirty" wall. A little more than 400 murals were recorded in the first 10 years, and always with Mr. Antulio Rondon, now a Journalist, as first diagram or training of new muralists.
In subsequent years, we are looking to raise environmental awareness among citizens, developing journalistic initiatives on solitary environmental topics, ecological and conservation. For a long time we kept full pages in local newspapers, or we simply provided to the media our writings. Then, we turned to the action of making complaints, because all it seemed too "light", for the immense ecological or environmental contingencies which we lived. The coal dishonorable route that was going through the city from end to end, leaving a coal dust, all kinds of allergies and respiratory diseases, each time their funeral trucks were transporting the coal.
The uncontrolled emission of gaseous pollutants from the Petrochemical Complex "El Tablazo", rashes, conjunctivitis, asthma, children with atrophy, and dozens of strange deaths that were recorded as "normal facts of town." Amen, the dusty cement from San Francisco, poisoning the locals. And of course, the greatest victim of our great national weakness, our inability to be productive, to seek other sources of development, our Lake Maracaibo. This July 25, incidentally, turned 87 years of uninterrupted oil poisoning. Mr. Jorge Perozo, Mr. Elio Nava Ms. Beatriz Rios, they were part of those brave unsung heroes.
The witness now has BLUE the third generation environmentalists, have spent 24 years, and the only ones who had grown old are these problems for over two decades and we are still overwhelming.
The challenge now is to inform, by any means and in real time, give notice, give the alert. Mounted on the information superhighway, cyberspace, with their social network. Today, we continue to feel useful, now from CANAL AZUL 24, from BLUE CHANNEL 24, from Facebook with "Blue Environmentalists II", making environmental journalism, defending the new flag of humanity that began almost 25 years ago.

Ten Concepts for the Latin American Environmental Glossary

Latin America has a continental and sub-reality environment, quite different from the other continents or sub-continents in the world.
The fundamental difference is in the optical or perspective of seeing the world, indigenous or regional interests, the fresh pot of races and ethnic groups that inhabit them.
We have the biggest lungs plants, woods and forests of the world as the largest amount of land that have not yet been exploited, we have great natural resources like water and mines. Our environmental concerns are specific, and solutions should primarily promote responsible growth and inclusive of all species that live and coexist on the planet.
Global warming, weakening of the ozone layer and other important and complex environmental issues, cease to be our priority given to the advancement impassivity uncontrolled deforestation in the Amazon, human interventions that accelerate the droughts of our lakes and rivers, the largest islands in a land of solid waste, air pollution by carbon dioxide in our cities, among of other relevant situations. We then face different realities that warrant different strategies.
Therefore, at present, the analysis and proposals to the environmental concerns of the Latin American subcontinent, contribute very little to solve them, all this, because of ecological or environmental discourse, built from the approach of other environmental realities. I will avail myself of a musical analogy, to compare these realities in Latin America in different fields. This is the case of music theory in the creation of compound rhythms, to interpret the Latin rhythms, folk, Caribbean or African. The music to the middle of last century, only we could write, on the concept of binary rhythms (2 / 4, 4 / 4) that are used in military marches or ternary (3 / 4) that are used in the Viennese waltzes, among others. Given the impossibility of writing, under those categories binary or ternary these Latin rhythms and / or Africans, were rethought and created rhythms compounds (5 / 8, 6 / 8, 7 / 8, 10 / 8, 11 / 8 ... 17 / 8), which is not only the combination or sum of multiple ways of binary and ternary rhythms, and since then, our rhythms in the world have been known. The same concept of Martial or Viennese rhythms could be applied when we try to analyze the environmental reality in Latin America.
In the interest of contributing to the construction of concepts, allowing language to give a theoretical support to the Latin American environmental discourse and power and develop the necessary analytical tools for the diagnosis and search for eco solutions, left to the discretion of readers, ten concepts for the new environmental glossary.
Blue environmentalist: Technical name of the color of the planet Earth seen from space.
Eco solutions: Strategies to deal successfully with actions to protect species and the recovery of the operated areas.
Responsible growth: The capacity of the Amerindians, Africans and Asians to meet their consumption needs, from a vision bio generational.
Bio generation: It is the natural right of all species to extend their future existence in the same condition you have in the present.
Bio generational Responsible Growth: The capacity of the Amerindians, Africans and Asians to meet their consumption needs without compromising the future of all species that interact in these communities. This concept comes in contrast to the concept of Sustainable Development set up by the thinkers of the developed countries to express their need to control the current consumption in order to ensure its future generations continue to enjoy the same wealth and resources in this obtained from the territories of Latin America, Africa and Asia.
Ibero environmentalist: Citizens of the Hispanic world defending natural rights, present and future of all species that inhabit the planet.
Latino environmentalist: Citizens of the Latin American subcontinent defending natural rights, present and future of all species that interact in your community or ecosystem.
Atmospheres intervened: Are the changes which occur in the atmosphere of Latin America, due to excessive and continuous toxic emissions produced in their cities.
Mex atmosphere: The more aggressive intervention that has the air in an urban American subcontinent. Mexico City, by its geographical position trapped between mountains valley has a photochemical smog that affects 80% of the population, with ozone levels above 0.30 ppm suspended particles of 10 microns.
The Amazon Desertification: Desertification unpublished Process that occurs in the Amazon, the product of degradation, deforestation, bio piracy and burning. The Amazon is the lungs of the world, with the largest rainforest and the longest river and largest flow of water in the world and the greatest diversity of fauna and flora. The impact of desertification of the Amazon is much more than the generation of dry and arid. It is the biggest global threat to our planet.

Como Obama no asistió, no hubo show.
