41 remote communities in Chispa, Mexico today have electricity thanks to photovoltaic systems

In Latin America, assistance to remote communities regarding the supply of electricity through photovoltaic systems has been important, useful, but slow.

This video shows an initiative in 2019, in the Ocosingo area, specifically in the town of Amador Hernández, in Chiapas, Mexico. For 5 months they brought light to 1,984 families, who live in 41 communities.

Similar efforts have been made in Ecuador, Peru and Colombia.

In recent years, at least 10,000 families in remote communities have received electricity through photovoltaic systems.

The challenge is enormous, and requires a collective and committed will to move forward.

There are around 1 million families without access to this important asset, only in Latin America.

We remind you to be with us an activist of this cause

Join our campaign spreading through the networks:

Yes to the re-use of low power solar panels!!

Latin America needs you!!
