Venezuela: Make independent of the national electricity system the Parish The January 23. It's possible?

A crowded Parish such as 23 de Enero, located west of the city of Caracas, north-central Venezuela, where around 12,000 families live distributed in 38 superblocks of 15 floors each, 42 small blocks, which also has 17 kindergartens, 8 nurseries, 25 commercial buildings, 5 primary schools, 2 markets and 2 civic centers, really separate from the national power grid?

Totally possible. The strategy is called "Create autonomous energy production and consumption quadrants", taking as a base or unit strategy, to make each residential block or superblock independent. And then continue with the other service units of the Parish, such as schools, preschools, supplies, pharmacies, public lighting, etc.

The proposal is simple and immediate. If we start, as an example, with one of the superblocks of 150 apartments, at least 2 solar panels must be installed on the front facade of each apartment, to guarantee a power of 1000 watts (or 1 kilowatt) and placed inside each lithium storage apartment (3 kilowatts), a hybrid photovoltaic system should still be used.

In the lateral facades, at least 50 solar panels of 500 watts each must be placed, achieving in principle an installed power between the two lateral facades of 50 Kilowatts, enough for the elevators, internal and internal lights and areas to work. of service. Likewise, storage of at least 20 Kilowatts will be available.

And what do we do with public lighting: roads, court lighting, and common areas of the parish, etc?

Each light pole is made independent, with photovoltaic LED lamps. Same for traffic lights and warning signs.

With this strategy of making the parish energetically autonomous, On January 23, it would be stopping the national electricity grid from consuming at least 100 Megawatts per day.

Approximate cost in dollars to make the parish autonomous, at present value of prices in the photovoltaic market: 50 million dollars (it could be less, but not more).

A plan to start in a first stage making each building and street lighting independent of the parish
